In a rare sighting, Terk managed to make it out to the World Café Live taste test on Thursday night and (apparently) had a few “tastes” of his own. Supported by Spongebob and the gang, blind tasters ready to hear tunes from Thomas Dolby stopped by the booth before the show and found happiness at the bottom of a Dixie cup.

With Chopin, Smirnoff and Belvedere as the competition, Pravda had some work to do before claiming to wear the (Square)pants in this family. Unfortunately for everyone involved, quite a few people forgot their names – or at least forgot to say their names. Since we’re not exactly sure who was who, we assumed everyone’s name was Randi (short for “Random”). As it turns out, Randi liked Pravda some of the time and other times not so much. Way to be consistent, Randi!

In the end, the music was suave, the vodka was plentiful and the results were a mix. Our favorite comment of the night has to be from Randi #2, who said that the other vodka was “assaulting her tongue.” Mind you, we’re still not sure what the “other vodka” was, but we’ll keep searching…
